White's Electronics .....

- A range of detectors from White's Electronics: Always well regarded detectors - good build quality and top notch performance. The XLT is getting a little old now and the DFX has it's followers - both work much better with someone willing to get involved with the programming.

The MXT and M6 can rightly be classed as two of the best "all-rounder" detectors - their only real competition for this title, coming from the Minelab Xterra 70, which is lighter, but not as well built.

XLT

An old favourite and still a popular detector. Not the deepest, but very sensitive and a very capable machine. Best in the hands of those people that are willing to get into the programming.

DFX

A well respected machine. Can be an excellent detector in the right hands - you need to get into the programming though.

MXT

A very sensitive detector, based on the GMT. A little chirpy and noisey in the field, but very capable of making plenty of finds. Has 3 different detecting modes. Great all-rounder.

M6

Basically a tweaked MXT, locked into Coin & Jewellery mode. Quieter and more stable than the MXT, but no option of the relic or prospecting modes. Very sensitive detector.

The Goldmaster E-series is a specialist detector for gold prospecting. Extremely sensitive, it runs in all metal with the help of an iron probability display but no real discrimination. The prospecting mode of the MXT is based on this detector.
